Race 1 – Maiden Handicap (1400m)

Our Winnie performed well enough to run second last start after running fifth on debut.

Jockey Rachel Murray is riding in good enough form this season and she could steal a lead around the turn and give them the slip.

Race 2 – Maiden Handicap (900m)

Second Island ran fourth on debut at Muswellbrook before improving to run second on this track.

The filly by Star Witness finished 3.3 lengths behind the winner, but there was plenty of improvement to take out of that race.

Race 3 – C1 Handicap (2200m)

Merican is a Richard Freedman-trained runner which didn’t fire on debut, but it hasn’t been far away since.

That form included consecutive placings coming into this and although it’s rising up in grade here, it looks to have better than class 1 potential.

Race 4 – C2 Handicap (900m)

Sausalito won either side of a spell and it was impressive when winning by three lengths last time out.

The Paul Perry-trained three-year-old looks to have better than average potential and the smaller field is only going to help its chances.

Race 5 – BM54 Handicap (1600m)

Athena’s Voice is coming off a win and that’s better form than the rest of this field.

The Rodney Northam-trained three-year-old has had plenty of racing, but it took seven starts to break maiden grades.

The confidence is up now so stick with it.

Race 6 – BM50 Handicap (1100m)

Something Shocking is a three-year-old which scored impressively by a length on debut at Gosford.

That came after an extensive trials preparation where it won twice and that experience will do it some good here.

She looks like a filly on the rise.

Race 7 – BM55 Handicap (1300m)

Serious Dancer hasn’t been the most consistent this campaign, but it comes into this with a win under its belt.

Jockey Louise Day takes some weight off its back and it could continue its good form this campaign.
