Race 1 – Maiden (1000m)

Pamplemousse improved dramatically from its debut run to the second-up performance, finishing fourth before securing a runners-up cheque last-start. It bodes well for a strong run.

Race 1 tip: Pamplemousse to win ($11 at Sportsbet)

Race 2 – Maiden Plate (1300m)

Mascot has been good without breaking through in its six race career, finishing inside the placings in three of its last four runs. The horse resumes here but has trialed in preparation for this start.

Race 2 tip: Mascot to win ($2.60 at Neds)

Race 3 – Class 1 Handicap (1600m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1185379_03]

Jolly Honour hasn’t been far off the mark since winning a maiden race four starts back. The gelding finished in the placings in three-straight races, never finishing beyond half a length of winner in better races than this one.

Race 3 tip: Jolly Honour to win ($3.20 at Sportsbet)

Race 4 – Inglis 2YO Challenge (1100m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1185379_04]

Lu’s In Charge made a great resumption at Muswellbrook, finishing second behind Lady Of Shalott. Despite the wide draw it will be right in the frame and the additional 100m will be beneficial.

Race 4 tip: Lu’s In Charge to win at ($4.60 Sportsbet)

Race 5 – Class 1 Handicap (1100m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1185379_05]

A good draw helps Taniko here. The Godolphin runner produced a three and a half maiden win on April 19 and drawing barrier four will be the big factor given the main rivals are drawn less favourably.

Race 5 tip: Taniko to win ($3.70 at William Hill)

Race 6 – Class 2 Handicap (1300m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1185379_06]

Siam gets a nasty gate but the resuming run is so good we’re prepared to overlook that draw. The horse smashed them at Kembla despite being well out of the contest early. A good jump ensures Siam wins this.

Race 6 tip: Siam to win ($5 at Neds)

Race 7 – Scone Cup (1600m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1185379_07]

We’re overlooking Sedanzer’s resuming Group 3 Godolphin Crown (1300m), finishing ninth, but the record suggests it will improve dramatically. The horse has never lost from three second-up attempts and we’re backing it in here from a good gate.

Race 7 tip: Sedanzer to win ($4.40 at William Hill)

Race 8 – Benchmark 85 (1400m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1185379_08]

If it was not for the horror draw Ori On Fire would be an odds on favour. We still think the horse can overcome barrier 18 and deliver a win in the final event on the card.

Race 8 tip: Ori On Fire to win ($4.20 at Sportsbet)
