Schofield fined $50,000 over Equita sale
Glyn Schofield has been fined $50,000 over the sale of Equita to Hong Kong.
The NSW-based jockey fronted the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board in Melbourne on Monday charged with the trading of bloodstock without the written permission of the ruling body, in this case Racing Victoria.
Schofield acted as the agent in the sale of Equita, trained by Brent Stanley and part-owned by RV’s chairman David Moodie, to the stables of Hong Kong trainer Danny Shum.
