Apprentice Tahlia Hope has been taken to hospital for scans following a fall at the Wangaratta races.

Hope fell from Hold My Beer in the Refridgetech Handicap on Monday.

The Victorian Jockeys’ Association said she was transported to hospital for scans on a shoulder and collarbone.

Luck again hasn’t fallen the way of Hope after her first Saturday city double at Caulfield last month.

Hope scored her first metropolitan double at Sandown in January only to later that month injure some ribs in a trackwork fall at Seymour.

In March last year she suffered a fractured ankle in a jump-out at Ballarat which kept her out of the saddle for six months.
