The Sapphire Coast in New South Wales plays host to seven races on Monday afternoon. The track is rated a Good 4, the rail is in the true position, and the first race will jump at 1:55pm local time. Let’s take a look at some of the best bets on offer.
Matthew Dale and Winona Costin combine with five-year-old gelding Tribbiani. The son of Not A Single Doubt comes off a midfield effort at Kembla in a Highway race nine days ago and should appreciate the class drop here. Over a mile and out of barrier eight, he should get a good run in transit. He’s a winner at the track in the past, which will be beneficial for his chances of beating the odds-on pop.

Big Steve is looking to get his maiden victory on Monday in a very winnable race. Having placed at his last two, including a second at this track a month ago, he looks ready to fire at start six. Michael Heagney will need to navigate a good path from the wide alley, but if they can get to the front easily enough, the pair will take a power of beating.

Three-year-old filly Divine Breath resumes in her second preparation at start number three. After running third in both of her previous races, including a placing behind the spruiked Sahra, she should be all the better for the experience. She was a nice trial winner a fortnight ago, and Jess Taylor knows the horse very well. She should be good enough to win here.
