Race 1 – Maiden Plate (1300m)

Mr Monaco has shown great promise across two career runs and it returns following a five month break. The horse finished just a length away from winning on debut at Kyneton and anything close to that run will see it highly competitive.
Race 1 tip: Mr Monaco to win ($2.15 at Neds)
Race 2 – Ladbrokes Handicap (1000m)

Ray’s Dream missed by a lip on debut at the beginning of March, but the experience of that run should hold it in good stead here. The filly jumps from a solid gate and we’re backing it to go one better here.
Race 2 tip: Ray’s Dream to win ($5 at William Hill)
Race 3 – Benchmark 70 (1000m)

Weekend Escape started its career with two wins, and despite a losing return on March 14, it will benefit from that run. The horse will be right in the mark here.
Race 3 tip: Weekend Escape to win ($7.50 at Sportsbet)
Race 4 – Benchmark 64 (1500m)

Hellava Babe has progressed across its last three runs and should be good enough to be competitive here. The mare missed out by a head on March 13 and we’re backing it to run up to that standard.
Race 4 tip: Hellava Babe to win ($10 at Sportsbet)
Race 5 – Benchmark 64 (1000m)
[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183415_05]
Hampton Classic has a great resuming chance here. The three-year-old filly comes into this one on the back of a strong maiden win at Terang four months ago, and it should return as a much more mature runner.
Race 5 tip: Hampton Classic to win ($8 at William Hill)
Race 6 – Benchmark 64 (1300m)
[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183415_06]
Weir runner Souffrant jumps from a great gate and will be right in the mix in a huge field. The horse resumed well at Bendigo, missing out by a neat length on March 6. This looms as a winnable race.
Race 6 tip: Souffrant to win ($11 at Neds)
Race 7 – Benchmark 64 (2400m)
[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183415_07]
Epsom Hill is ready to peak third-up here. The horse has placed in back-to-back events since resuming and while it will need luck from out wide, it’s good enough to win this.
Race 7 tip: Epsom Hill to win ($5 at Crownbet)
Race 8 – Benchmark 70 (1800m)

Darren Weir-trained Leicester has a class advantage on these guys. The horse’s last-start win was extremely impressive and we think it goes on from that run.
Race 8 tip: Leicester to win ($1.85 at Neds)
