What Sale Races
Where Sale Racecourse – 1227 Maffra-Sale Rd, Sale VIC 3850
When Sunday, July 25, 2021
First Race 10:45am AEST

Sale Racecourse is scheduled to host a bumper 10-race card on Sunday afternoon, and HorseBetting.com.au’s Victorian racing analyst presents his best bets, top odds and free quaddie numbers. The track is rated a Soft 6 with the rail out 4m for the entire circuit, and the meeting is set to get underway at 10:45am AEST.

Sale Best Bet: White Heath

The Tony Rosolini-trained White Heath broke his maiden over the jumps at Pakenham on July 18 and comes to Sale perfectly placed to build on that win. Having settled last in running on that day, the five-year-old son of Dalakhani managed to wear down his rivals with clean jumping and efficient work on the flat. On the quick seven-day backup he comes up against a field of non-winners, and with Lee Horner retaining the ride they look a clear best bet on the card.

Best BetRace 3 – White Heath (#5) $2.60 with Sportsbet

Next Best for Sale: Star Ines

In the second leg of the quaddie, the Mathew Ellerton & Simon Zahra-trained Star Ines returns to Sale following a runner-up performance over this track and distance on July 9. With two second-place finishes to his name to begin this campaign, the four-year-old son of Star Witness looks perfectly placed to bring up just his second career win. From barrier one, we expect Damien Thornton to lob him in the box seat just off the leader’s heels, and with even luck at the home straight the pair should put a couple of lengths on their rivals and prove too strong late on.

Next BestRace 8 – Star Ines (#4) $3.60 with Ladbrokes

Sale Value Bet: Get In The Queue

Mick Price and Michael Kent Jr send their impressive last-start winner Get In The Queue to the Sale 1615m off a four-week break between runs. The three-year-old son of Ready For Victory managed to lead all the way at Werribee on June 27 under a well-rated steer from John Allen, winning by three lengths. With Jamie Mott on board and needing to jump from barrier 14 on Sunday, we anticipate the gelding will lead the field up and kick clear again to make it three wins from as many attempts on Soft going.

Best ValueRace 10 – Get In The Queue (#9) $7.50 with Sportsbet
