Race 1 – Maiden (2227m)

Alabama Man has raced well across its last three races, rounding out the placings three times in a row. The last two races were at Pakenham, so the drop from the city to the country track should play in its favour.

Race 1 tip: Alabama Man to win ($2.10 at William Hill)

Race 2 – Maiden Plate (1419m)

Jungle Fish finished less than half a length off the winner on debut at Sandown on January 31 and the drop in class from city to country will be pivotal here. The Smart Missle filly is the clear-cut runner to beat.

Race 2 tip: Jungle Fish to win ($1.85 at Neds)

Race 3 – Maiden Plate (1213m)

The Party Girl has been good over its four career runs to date and looms as a winning chance. The Ellerton and Zahra runner has had one start at Sale for a second placing behind Neurotic a month ago and we feel it is well placed to go one better.

Race 3 tip: The Party Girl to win ($3 at Sportsbet)

Race 4 – Maiden Plate (1213m)

Dream Brother rounded out the placings last time it took to the track and we think it can improve significantly on that run. That third placed finished was the horse’s only career run – which came at Sale – and we’re expecting it to do the business here.

Race 4 tip: Dream Brother to win ($5.50 at Sportsbet)

Race 5 – Benchmark 70 (1419m)

Laughing Heir is a quality runner that has won previously first-up in the past. The horse has won in better company that this race and we think it presents in excellent condition to win its fourth race from ten starts.

Race 5 tip: Laughing Heir to win ($4.40 at Neds)

Race 6 – Benchmark 58 (1419m)

Venator has been racing in great fashion and will be hard to hold out. The gelding has finished in the first-four in three-straight races and was only half a length away from breaking through on February 4.

Race 6 tip: Venator to win ($2.60 at William Hill)

Race 7 – Benchmark 64 (1736m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1181744_07]

Moscow Red has been terrific in its last four runs, culminating in a last-start win at Geelong on January 28. The horse has been great in its career, winning twice and placing another two times over six runs. Moscow Red looks a class above this field.

Race 7 tip: Moscow Red to win ($2.60 at Crownbet)

Race 8 – Benchmark 64 (1113m)

The hat-trick seeking Steel Of Madrid should send punters home happy here. The horse gets an inside draw and is carrying a good amount of weight. Jake Noonan retains the ride, who piloted the last two victories.

Race 8 tip: Steel Of Madrid to win ($4.40 at Ladbrokes)
