What | Rosehill Races |
Where | Rosehill Gardens Racecourse – James Ruse Dr, Rosehill NSW 2142 |
When | Saturday, June 14, 2025 |
First Race | 11am AEST |
Feature racing returns to Rosehill Gardens on Saturday with a 10-race meeting headlined by the Listed Winter Cup (2400m). Showers are forecast in the lead-up, meaning the Soft 6 rating will likely remain, if not worsen to a Soft 7 or Heavy 8. The rail comes out 3m for the entire circuit, with the first race at Rosehill set to jump at 11am AEST.
Winter Cup Tip: Touristic
Touristic was a dominant winner of the Listed Lord Mayors Cup (2000m) at this track on a Heavy 8 on May 31 and looks well placed to complete the winter staying feature double at Rosehill. On the back of a hot speed, the son of Frankel came with the big bounds in the final furlong to win by 2.2 lengths against a field not too dissimilar to the one he lines up in on Saturday. From barrier two, Andrew Adkins will give the six-year-old every opportunity in running, and barring any bad luck when asked for an effort, Touristic will prove to be the superior stayer once more.

Best Bet at Rosehill: Lady Extreme
The Blake Ryan-trained Lady Extreme came with a withering burst to score first-up on May 31 over 1100m, and it is hard to see how she does not go on with the job on Saturday. Last time out, the five-year-old mare relished the Heavy 8 when putting in the big strides late on the back of a strong tempo. This BM72 looks set to be run at a similar tempo, meaning if Jace McMurray can avoid getting trapped wide with no cover, Lady Extreme should have the turn of foot to pick off some vulnerable rivals.
Best Bet
Race 3 – #3 Lady Extreme (14)
5yo Mare | T: Blake Ryan | J: Jace McMurray (a) (59kg)
Next Best at Rosehill: Codetta
Codetta caught everyone’s eye when flashing home for second over 1100m at this track on May 31. The three-year-old filly will relish any sting out of the ground, as she has three wins and three runner-up efforts from seven attempts on rain-affected going. With a genuinely run event expected, if Jace McMurray can find a back to follow from a rearward position, Codetta should only have to replicate her last-start finishing burst to be overhauling her rivals in this.

3yo Filly | T: Michael Freedman | J: Jace McMurray (a3) (58.5kg)
