Honkytonk Diva kicked off her career in the Clinton Taylor stable with a dominant win over 1300m at this track on June 2, defeating Street Glory by just under four lengths. This daughter of Under The Louvre has returned in good form this preparation, finishing fourth and second in her last two runs with her previous trainer. At the end of her last campaign, she raced in the Group 3 Vo Rogue Plate, where she was far from disgraced in finishing seventh – beaten by just under four lengths. Warwick Satherley has retained the ride, and if he can navigate a path from a wide barrier (11), Honkytonk Diva will be tough to beat.

In the penultimate, Princess Tenko returns from a four-month spell to have her first run for Clinton Taylor. This daughter of Real Impact has been given one trial leading in, which she won over 900m easily under little to no riding. This five-year-old mare is yet to win first-up from three starts, but a new environment and the trial win should have her in good shape. If Tiffani Brooker can find the lead from barrier four, Princess Tenko should prove very hard to run down.
