Race 1 – Highway Handicap (1600m)

Newtown Bluebag has been well supported since market opened. The five-year-old opened at $7.50 and is currently $6 on the back of a solid placing last start. This is one of the weakest Highway races we’ve seen in some time so it could take advantage.

Race 1 tip: Newtown Bluebag to win ($6) at CrownBet.com.au

Race 2 – BM71 Handicap (1000m)

Pendeloque won like a horse going places last start and the three-year-old could go back-to-back. The Gerald Ryan-trained sprinter defeated a small but good field at Randwick and it’s paying nice odds to repeat.

Race 2 tip: Pendeloque to win ($5.50) at Sportsbet.com.au

Race 3 – BM82 Handicap (2400m)

Great Glen is running out of chances, but its consistency should be rewarded soon enough. The Chris Waller-trained six-year-old has placed at its last three starts and it’s not going to be many more easy opportunities like this.

Race 3 tip: Great Glen to win ($4.40) at CrownBet.com.au

Race 4 – BM79 Handicap (1200m)

Reach for Heaven is fresh up for Kris Lees and it’s good to see some market support. The recent trial winner has beaten some nice types during its career and this field looks more like a midweek level race. It should be able to take advantage.

Race 4 tip: Reach for Heaven to win ($3.20) at Neds.com.au

Race 5 – BM81 Handicap (1200m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1177770_05]
Machinegun Jubs hasn’t had the best of luck this season and the 62kg on its back won’t help, but it has plenty of talent. The Angela Davies-trained five-year-old has won and placed from four starts this time in and she has more talent than most here.

Race 5 tip: Machinegun Jubs to win ($4.60) at Neds.com.au

Race 6 – Maroubra Mile (1600m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1177770_06]
Dreamforce was a force when winning at Randwick last start by 5.5 lengths. The John Thompson-trained five-year-old has now won five of its 14 starts and dropping to 53kg is going to make it awfully tough to beat again.

Race 6 tip: Dreamforce to win ($2.35) at CrownBet.com.au

Race 7 – BM86 Handicap (1400m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1177770_07]
Crafty Cop hasn’t quite lived up to expectations this season, but the talent is still there. Team Hawkes lines up the gelding by Starcraft, which doesn’t string wins together, but it has the goods and could take this out at each way odds.

Race 7 tip: Crafty Cop to win ($3.80) at Sportsbet.com.au

Race 8 – BM78 Handicap (1400m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1177770_08]
Sugar Bella has returned from a long layoff in style, winning its last two starts. The Lees-trained star is on the rise in the Sydney ranks and it’s no surprise to see it well-fancied in the market.

Race 8 tip: Sugar Bella to win ($1.75) at CrownBet.com.au

Race 9 – BM82 Handicap (1800m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1177770_09]
Vaucluse Bay went well last time out when second and it could turn that into winning form. The Waller-trained stayer has had its problems, but it could pay to follow the early betting support.

Race 9 tip:
Vaucluse Bay to win ($3.80) at at WilliamHill.com.au
