Eight races are set to be run and won on the Pakenham synthetic track on Tuesday afternoon, and HorseBetting’s Victorian betting analyst brings you his best bets and quaddie numbers for the meeting. The rail is in the true position for the entire circuit, and the first race is set to jump at 1pm AEST.

Pakenham Best Bet: Real Feeling

In the opening leg of the quaddie, we are happy to be with the Jason Warren-trained Real Feeling second-up from a spell. In her debut campaign she was beaten second-up by the smart Malicorne at Moonee Valley over 1200m. This is considerably easier than what she contested that time, so she looks hard to beat. Expect Josh Richards to have her settled just off the pace, and his 2kg claim should make them hard to catch.

Best BetRace 5 – Real Feeling (#3) $3.10 with Sportsbet

Pakenham Next Best: Jens

The John McArdle-trained Jens comes to the Pakenham synthetic after experiencing a tough run at Cranbourne on May 21 when finishing midfield. The three-year-old Toronado filly was three wide with no cover at Cranbourne and just plugged away to be beaten by seven lengths. Her run prior to that saw her beaten by under a half-length after being held up for a run. From barrier three under Jamie Mott, we expect Jens to be close to the speed throughout and too strong for these over the concluding stages of the 1600m.

Next BestRace 1 – Jens (#9) $3.30 with Sportsbet

Pakenham Value Bet: Diesel ‘N’ Dust

We will be hoping it is a race-to-race double for Jason Warren and Josh Richards when they team up with Diesel ‘N’ Dust in the second leg of the quaddie. The three-year-old gelding’s four runs this campaign have been disappointing, but if he brings the form he showed during the spring, he can certainly give this a shake. He has had two runs on Heavy going this campaign and has not shown much, so getting onto the synthetic may just be the tonic to get him back into the winner’s stall.

Best ValueRace 6 – Diesel ‘N’ Dust (#17) $17 with Sportsbet
