Race 1 – Maiden Plate (1000m)

A great gate should help the consistent South Arbor. The gelding has four placings from six attempts, including a strong showing on March 27 as a $15 outsider. South Arbor looks ready to win.

Race 1 tip: South Arbor to win at Ladbrokes

Race 2 – Maiden (1400m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1184055_02]

Sonaree put together a career-best performance when the gelding finished less than half a length away from winning at Sandown on March 28. From the gun draw it should be right in the mix.

Race 2 tip: Sonaree to win at Neds

Race 3 – Maiden (1600m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1184055_03]

Chandon Apparel has placed second in two of its three career starts to date and looks ready to win. The filly wasn’t too far off the pace from winning at Kyneton on March 7, and the horse has been freshened since. This appears within Chadon Apparel’s grasp.

Race 3 tip: Chandon Apparel to win at Sportsbet

Race 4 – Maiden Plate (1200m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1184055_04]

We’re banking on Absolute Heaven to breakthrough. The horse has three placings from as many attempts including a resuming run on March 29 where the filly finished half a length away from winning. Absolute Heaven will spear out from gate five and give them something to catch.

Race 4 tip: Absolute Heaven to win at Sportsbet

Race 5 – Class 1 Handicap (1600m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1184055_05]

Renegade will enjoy the inside draw. After breaking the maiden to start the preparation the Tony McEvoy-trained gelding was only four parts of a length away from backing that victory up. With not a lot of speed in the race Renegade will be able to dictate its position.

Race 5 tip: Renegade to win at William Hill

Race 6 – Benchmark 64 (1600m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1184055_06]

Hellava Babe was a strong last-start winner at this grading so we’re not jumping off anytime soon. The horse jumps in weight, but it is in terrific form, placing in three-straight events.

Race 6 tip: Hellava Babe to win at Neds

Race 7 – Benchmark 64 (1400m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1184055_07]

Flying Murty was unlucky not to win last time at benchmark 70 level when it finished less than a length away from Vainstream at Pakenham. It should be undefeated after two runs, and we think Flying Murty is the runner to beat.

Race 7 tip: Flying Murty to win at Ladbrokes

Race 8 – Benchmark 64 (1200m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1184055_08]

The third-up Cherief’s Choice should be hard to beat here. The horse has placed in both runs this preparation, improving to finish just over half a length away from victory. This appears to be a winnable race.

Race 8 tip: Cherief’s Choice to win at Ladbrokes
