Shockool has turned around some poor form last campaign with back-to-back placings. The four-year-old by Shocking is bred to be a stayer and the longer distances have helped significantly this season.

Race 1 tip: Shockool to win at CrownBet.com.au

Race 2 – Maiden Plate (1200m)

Matuzalem has been knocking on the door its last two starts and this stable and jockey combination is in form. The four-year-old is still in maiden grades after 12 starts, but that could all change here.

Race 3 – Maiden Plate (1200m)

Malo Bik is nearing a win after three consecutive second placings. The Allan Sharrock-trained three-year-old will have to deal with a wide draw here, but it has good natural pace and should have too much speed for them.

Race 3 tip: Malo Bik to win at Neds.com.au

Race 4 – Maiden Plate (1400m)

Sassy Bride has looked the part this time in with consecutive placings. The daughter by Fully Fledged finished just behind Tipping Point in a strong maiden last start and that form should stack up well here.

Race 4 tip: Sassy Bride to win at CrownBet.com.au

Race 5 – BM75 Handicap (1600m)

Darscape Princess has always had plenty of potential and that finally paid off with a win last start. Trainer Fraser Auret is expecting a good effort from the four-year-old and it could put two together.

Race 5 tip: Darscape Princess to win at Sportsbet.com.au

Race 6 – BM65 Handicap (1400m)

Rock On Wood did well to finish third last start and that was a solid effort after winning on debut. The form behind Smokin’ Oak has been good this season and we wouldn’t be surprised to see it win here.

Race 6 tip: Rock On Wood to win at WilliamHill.com.au

Race 7 – BM65 Handicap (2100m)

Hot In High Heels hasn’t won in a long time, but it has been contesting tough fields and this looks much easier. The five-year-old finished second at Te Rapa last start and travelling south will open up some opportunities.

Race 7 tip: Hot In High Heels to win at Neds.com.au

Race 8 – Maiden Plate (1600m)

Missy Miu Miu ran well for third on debut at Otaki and having that experience will help. It was no match for runaway winner Toms, but this looks much easier.
