Muswellbrook holds the call this Sunday afternoon with a strong seven-race program kicking off at 1pm. The rail is out +5m between the 1000m and 300m markers, while it sits true for the remainder of the circuit. With clearing days across the weekend, we’re expecting pristine Good 4 conditions.

Sting Jet is set to make his second race-day appearance for the Brett Cavanough stable since being transferred from Mathew Ellerton and should be looking for back-to-back wins on Sunday. He was a good thing beaten his latest attempt at Scone on June 30 after missing the start completely, picking himself up to find a mid-field finish. He never got clear on that occasion either, so with a change of luck from barrier one, Sting Jet should be making amends for followers this time in.

Bullbarrow looks ready to peak third-up into the campaign after a very strong performance in Class 1 company. The maiden galloper powered into fourth position at Scone on July 14 and should relish the step up in trip on Sunday afternoon. This contest is much easier on paper and this son of Free Eagle maps to get a much more prominent position from barrier six. Watch for Aaron Bullock to slot into a one-off spot before unleashing Bullbarrow down the middle of the course to score.

Edge Of Reward is starting to put it all together as a four-year-old and will be seeking back-to-back victories at to add on his resume. His last-start win at Taree on July 6 was a bold front-running effort, and while he now steps into BM66 company for the first time, we’re confident Edge Of Reward can go on with the job. Jockey Koby Jennings will try to make every post a winner, and if he can pinch a break turning for home, Edge Of Reward will be very hard to chase down.
