South Australian racing kicks off its March schedule with a seven-part card at Murray Bridge on Wednesday afternoon. With the track coming up a Good 4 and clear skies forecasted, we should see plenty of good racing throughout the day. The card is set to get underway at 1:40pm ACDT.
Best Bet: Master Of Zerprise
We were with Master Of Zerprise at the rescheduled Murray Bridge card held at Morphettville on February 19, and he repaid us in fine style. Jessica Eaton and Mick Huxtable are forming quite the combination, striking at 53% with all their runners. With a genuine tempo expected over the 2000m, it maps perfectly for Master Of Zerprise to round the field up when entering the home straight. His neat turn of foot should be too much for this lot as he makes it four wins from his last five starts.

Next Best: Starspangled Saga
The Shane Oxlade-trained Starspangled Saga gave nothing else a chance when leading all the way to break her maiden at Strathalbyn on February 17. With speed drawn underneath her she may need a little bit of luck early on in the running, but if she is afforded that she looks hard to catch. The three-year-old filly rates highly with Paul Gatt retaining the ride, and if she can go barrier to box on Wednesday it will be her second win from three starts.

Best Value: Grimesy
In the opening leg of the Murray Bridge quaddie, we are opting to side with the Shayne Cahill-trained Grimsey. Two runs back the gelding was a dominant winner at Gawler on February 10, coming from last to score by close to three lengths. The four-year-old’s run at Penola on February 24 was full of merit when going down by a half-length, and on the quick seven-day backup he looks to be the one to hold out at a juicy each-way price.
