Murray Bridge tips & form for Wednesday, January 10

MURRAY Bridge is hosting the South Australian gallops this Wednesday and we cannot wait.

The SA city has an entertaining eight race card in the offing and we have already taken a look at which horses will be worth backing for this mid-week meet.

Let’s take a look at our selections.

Race 1 – Maiden Plate (1006m)

Vod should be taking this race out. There’s no real form outside of our elect and the horse has been making headway with each start. The four-year-old mare should be breaking the maiden grade on Wednesday.

Race 1 tip: Vod to win at Sportsbet

Race 2 – Maiden (1206m)

Moody Miss put together its best race-day performance at Nhill last time out and we think it can go on from there. Only one other horse in the field has placed previously, putting our tip at the head of the line here.

Race 2 tip: Moody Miss to win at Neds

Race 3 – Maiden (1606m)

Just A Gigolo has finished inside the first four in its last four runs and looks well placed here. The horse has been progressing with every run and is finishing closer to the winner across its last two runs. We think it’s time is now.

Race 4 – Benchmark 56 (1606m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1177663_04]

Playfellow broke the maiden grade last-start and looks poised to win straight away in benchmark grading. Benchmark 56 is not the highest grading of race in the world, and while the horse jumps 4kg in weight we think it can get the job done.

Race 4 tip: Playfellow to win at Sportsbet

Race 5 – Benchmark 64 (904m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1177663_05]

Arrow Lane is dropping back slightly in grade after a disappointing resuming run, and we are certain a better performance is in the offing. The horse has produced a win at a higher class than this so we expect it to have no issues getting the win here.

Race 5 tip: Arrow Lane to win at William Hill

Race 6 – Benchmark 60 (2206m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1177663_06]

Spying On You is in decent form and comes into this race ready to win. The horse has been racing around this grade and has placed in its two previous runs, so we are anticipating a better run from an ideal gate.

Race 6 tip: Spying On You to win at Crownbet

Race 7 – Benchmark 60 (1406m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1177663_07]

Simpatico won at benchmark 60 level last time and it remains at that grade on Wednesday. The horse is also third-up, where it has placed in the past. If it can overcome barrier 10 Simpatico will be taking this race out.

Race 7 tip: Simpatico to win at Crownbet

Race 8 – Benchmark 60 (1206m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1177663_08]

Kiwi Boss can spear forward with its early speed and lead early from barrier ten. If it gets to the front early and cheaply we believe it has the ability to take this event out.

Race 8 tip: Kiwi Boss to win at Crownbet
