A nine race card is set down for decision on Saturday afternoon at Morphettville, with the Group 3 Lord Reims Stakes the featured event. With a perfect summer’s day forecast we should see an upgrade from a Good 4 to a Good 3 early on in the card. With the rail out 11m from the 1200m to the winning post it will certainly be no disadvantage to be up on speed throughout the day.

From one Michael Hickmott and Jessica Eaton combination to another. Echoes In Eternity was accepted into the Group 3 Typhoon Tracy Stakes at Moonee Valley on Friday night, but was subsequently scratched and saved for this BM68 on Saturday. Having returned in fine form this preparation with two wins from as many starts he looks hard to go past as he pushes for three wins on the bounce. With Eaton’s 1.5kg claim, look for the pair to settle up on speed just off the leader’s heels and when asked for an effort the filly should have enough class behind her to put this field to bed quickly.
