Morphettville full form & tips for Valentine’s Day, February 14
MORPHETTVILLE is hosting racing this Valentine’s Day and the punters are in for a real treat.

Exalted Kanga should be winning this opening event. It has a distinct experience advantage on the four runner field and only missed out by half a length last time out.

Miss Labelle has been around the mark in every race it has had to date. Its last two races the horse has gone down by a combined total of just one length, highlighting how close it has been to winning. Miss Labelle gets its chance on Wednesday.

Race 3 – Maiden Plate (1550m)

Tamara Marie will be suited by the smaller field and the placing record of three from four previous runs also entices us. The horse placed last time out at this distance. There’s a lot of factors in Tamara Marie’s favour.

Race 4 – Benchmark 64 (2400m)

Centenary Shot is in red-hot form and so very close to registering another career win. This is a slight step-up in class, but the horse has been just half a length away from the winner from its last two races combined. It makes for a great reading heading into this race.

Race 5 – Maiden Plate (1300m)

Boom Tune will have to carry next to no weight after the claim here which will be highly beneficial. The horse has yet to set the world on fire so far, but neither has the majority of the other runners.

Race 6 – Benchmark 60 (1550m)

Art Music is overdue for a win. In the horse’s last nine runs it has missed the placings just two times. Last time out the galloper was just two parts of a length off the winner and we believe it can go one better on Wednesday.

Race 7 – Class 2 Handicap (1000m)

Mazurek has a great record first-up and will be delivering a strong performance upon resumption. The horse trialed well leading into this event and it has a win at Morphettville in the past. Back Mazurek in.

Race 8 – Benchmark 64 (1300m)

Arctic Blaze is hunting a hat-trick and is well placed to get it. Wednesday is a step-up in class and company but you cannot doubt the form heading in. Retaining just 55.5kg will be a great benefit, as will the barrier six draw.
