The night racing in Victoria continues on Friday at Moonee Valley, and HorseBetting brings you the best bets and top quaddie picks for the eight-race card. The track is rated a Good 4, the rail is set in the true position, and racing is set to commence at 6:15pm AEDT.

Moonee Valley Best Bet – Fake Love

The Ciaron Maher & David Eustace-trained Fake Love comes back to Moonee Valley in a bid to build on her third-place finish behind Marine One on October 22. With proven Group 1 form around her first two runs this campaign, the I Am invincible filly will no doubt appreciate the drop back into BM70 grade. With a Stakes win to her name already in her career, we know Fake Love has plenty of ability, and from barrier eight, with Josh Richards claiming 3kg to get the weight down to just 54kg, we expect her to win this. Look for Richards to take her to the front, dictate terms and prove too hard to run down.

Best BetRace 4 – Fake Love (#8) $3.60 with Sportsbet

Next Best at Moonee Valley – Brownie

We will be hoping the Maher & Eustace stable walk away from The Valley with at least a winning double when Brownie steps out over 1000m. The four-year-old Street Boss mare is coming off a third-place finish at Morphettville on October 16 where she looked the winner inside the final 200m before tiring late. She drops back to the 1000m from the 1200m, and with Josh Richards on board with his 3kg claim, it will most likely be carbon copy of his ride on Fake Love earlier on in the card. Brownie has shown she can handle all conditions, and with rain expected in the lead up to Friday, it may prove advantageous to be up on speed in the later sprint races.

Next BestRace 7 – Brownie (#9) $7 with Sportsbet

Moonee Valley Value Bet – Rousseau

Chris Waller and Brett Prebble are set to combine with Rousseau, who is coming off a disappointing performance as favourite at Bendigo on October 27. He steps up to a more favourable distance of 2040m, and considering the form the stable is in and Prebble himself, it may be the tonic to get Rousseau back into the winner’s stall. He will be settling in the second half of the field from barrier nine, and on the back of a genuine tempo, we expect Prebble to have the So You Think gelding moving approaching the 600m mark. With a bit of luck, Rosseau can finish over the top of his rivals.

Best ValueRace 5 – Rousseau (#9) $10 with Sportsbet
