Race 1 – Valley Pearl (1200m)

Chess Star has only gone down by a combined length in its two career race starts and is one of only two runners in the field of eight to have previously placed on race day. It bodes well for a strong hit out on Friday.

Race 1 tip: Chess Star to win ($3.40 at Neds)

Race 2 – Benchmark 70 (2040m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183223_02]

It is hard to fault the form of Divine Command. The Weir runner has won two of its last six races and has not missed a placing in that time frame. The claim from Ethan Brown will help and we’re backing it in for another rock-solid run.

Race 2 tip: Divine Command to win ($3 at William Hill)

Race 3 – Maiden (1200m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183223_03]

The undefeated Princeton Spirit is hunting a fourth-straight success after a six month break. The horse won just below this grading at this track prior to being turned out and we’re anticipating another win.

Race 3 tip: Princeton Spirit to win ($4.20 at Sportsbet)

Race 4 – Ladbrokes 55 Second Challenge Final (955m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183223_04]

Super Too is a class above this field and will be hard to hold out. The horse drops significantly in grade and has a third-up win in the past. Super Too is one of the safest bets of the night.

Race 4 tip: Super Too to win ($1.55 at Sportsbet)

Race 5 – Alexandra Stakes (1600m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183223_05]

Think Bleue is stepping up in grade but it will be right in the mix. The Weir-trained filly has two wins and a second this preparation and gets a perfect draw and weight for this one.

Race 5 tip: Think Bleue to win ($10 at William Hill)

Race 6 – Sunline Stakes (1600m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183223_06]

The red-hot Life On The Wire has never won at the mile before but we cannot deny the Taswegian. The mare has recorded five-straight wins and we believe she can make it six.

Race 6 tip: Life On The Wire to win ($7 at Neds)

Race 7 – William Reid Stakes (1200m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183223_07]

She Will Reign gets a light weight and a great gate. Do we need to elaborate? The star sprinter has won at the Valley before and is third-up, a point in the preparation it has won at in the past. Just get on.

Race 7 tip: She Will Reign to win ($6.50 at Crownbet)

Race 8 – Open Plate (1200m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183223_08]

Deprive is undefeated and looms as a big threat. Despite getting barrier 11 to jump from, the Godolphin runner has trialed leading into this and will be right in the finish.

Race 8 tip: Deprive to win ($2.80 at Neds)
