Mildura will host an eight-race program on Tuesday as the solitary Victorian meeting for the day. The track is currently rated a Soft 5 and there is no rain on the forecast, so we should be on a Good track by raceday. The rail is going to be in the true position for the entire course, with racing to commence at 1:30pm AEDT.
Best Bet at Mildura – Jet Jitsu
Our best bet of the day will come up in race seven, where we are siding with the Andrew Bobbin-trained Jet Jitsu. This four-year-old gelding has recently changed trainers from the Trent Busuttin & Natalie Young partnership to Andrew Dobbin, where he has recorded a first and a second from two starts. This son of Ajaya showed a lethal turn of foot when winning first-up over 1204m, whilst he was held up last start at the top of the straight and only went down by a nostril at this track and trip. If there is a decent tempo set up by the leaders in this race and Harry Coffey can have this guy on the outside as he rounds the bend, he will be flying home late and winning.

Next Best at Mildura – Daskulya
The Len Jarvis-trained Daskulya drops back from Saturday grade at Morphettville two weeks ago to a midweek Mildura Benchmark 58. After leading most of the way last start over 1100m and being run over in the last 100m, dropping back to 1000m will be perfect for this guy. Ellis Wong has ridden this son of Bullet Train five times, recording two wins and two places, so there is no other jockey that punters would want riding this gelding. If Wong can have this guy comfortable in the lead, he will be very hard to get past in the straight.
