Mark Newnham to train at Warwick Farm

Gai Waterhouse’s former right-hand man Mark Newnham will begin his training career at Warwick Farm with no stables available at Randwick.

Newnham, who left Waterhouse last month because of changes within the stable, had hoped to stay at Randwick.

But with Sydney’s premier track full, Newnham has inspected boxes at Warwick Farm in Sydney’s south west.

“Hope to be training at Warwick Farm in the next few weeks.” Newnham said on Twitter.
