Let Her Rip to have an extended spell following bleed
Let Her Rip is on an extended break, but will be back on the stakes trail later next year.
The Rip Van Winkle five-year-old is currently side-lined after bleeding during the Group 2 Cal Isuzu Stakes (1600m) at Te Rapa last Saturday.
“She’ll have the mandatory three month stand down and hopefully we’ll have another crack at black type in the autumn,” Shaune Ritchie said.
“She’ll be going to stud in the spring and she’s a Group Three winner so any more black type will be great.”
