Race 1 – Maiden (1200m)

Banca Bet was decent on debut at Hobart and gets the perfect chance to breakthrough at the second time of asking. The horse only missed out by a length, but more was expected after firming before the jump. The filly will be better for the racing experience and will improve enough to win.

Race 1 tip: Banca Bet to win ($1.60 at William Hill)

Race 2 – Class 1 (1600m)

Double You Tee has been racing in much better events than this one and presents as a terrific winning chance. The horse has placed in back-to-back listed races before finishing fourth in the Tasmanian Derby. This appears well within its grasp.

Race 2 tip: Double You Tee to win ($1.55 at Neds)

Race 3 – Class 3 Handicap (1200m)

By The Pound is third-up, where it has previously placed at in the past. The horse was fifth upon on resumption and improved markedly next start with a second. We believe it can add a second win third-up in as many attempts.

Race 3 tip: By The Pound to win ($4.40 at Sportsbet)

Race 4 – Benchmark 58 (1400m)

Acronym should spear out and lead here, and there’s a great chance it can win from the front. In two of its last three races the horse has placed and two of those events it was less than a length away from the winner.

Race 4 tip: Acronym to win ($4.20 at Sportsbet)

Race 5 – Benchmark 72 (2100m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1181939_05]

Bottom-weight It’s A Battle has been in hot form and will be right in the mix here. In three of the horse’s last four runs it has finished within a length of the winner, and the other event it was second, just two lengths away. Looms as a big threat here.

Race 5 tip: It’s A Battle to win ($2.60 at William Hill)

Race 6 – Tasmanian Oaks (2100m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1181939_06]

Pleasuring has been great over this preparation, winning twice and placing five times across seven runs. The horse was too good for them in the Strutt Stakes at Hobart and this race appears within its grasp.

Race 6 tip: Pleasuring to win ($1.80 at William Hill)

Race 7 – Vamos Stakes (1400m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1181939_07]

Life On The Wire was scratched last time out in its return to Tasmania, but before that it had recorded four-straight wins. This appears its race to lose and we’re backing it right in to deliver the win.

Race 7 tip: Life On The Wire to win ($2.20 at Crownbet)

Race 8 – Benchmark 78 (1400m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1181939_08]

Silver Bolt gets a great gate to jump from to follow up its last-start win at this track and grading. The horse jumps 4kg in weight but that won’t deter us from getting on board. Silver Bolt should be taking out the final event on the Tasmanian card.

Race 8 tip: Silver Bolt to win ($2.30 at Crownbet)
