Kyneton Sunday Races Horse Betting Preview
A nine race card is set to be run and won on Sunday afternoon at Kyneton, where punters will be looking to round out a Group 1 weekend with plenty of winners on the agenda. The track has come up a Soft 6 so we look set to be racing on rain affected ground. With showers forecasted throughout the latter part of the card, it may be wise to hold big investments off until we see how the track is playing during the opening events.
The first of nine is set to jump at 1:00pm.
The Ellerton and Zahra gelding Influential Jack, looked to have been a sure thing beaten last start at Cranbourne when finishing half a length off the eventual winner. He settled three wide with no cover the trip and when the jockey looked set to go on with it, he got swamped late to get the minor money. From barrier five, Daniel Moor should get a nice run in transit one off the fence and when asked for an effort at the top of the straight he should take up the running and put this field away.

This three year old filly was one of the hard luck stories at Caulfield a fortnight ago when getting absolutely no luck when she needed it. She has been far from disgraced in all three starts this campaign and looks well placed to get the job done here at Kyneton. The drop in grade back from city racing will help. She will be carrying 1.5kg less from her last start run and from barrier nine Daniel Stackhouse will look to settle her in the back half of the field and present her with plenty in the tank.
