HorseBetting’s Victorian form analyst presents his best bets and top quaddie numbers for the nine-race card at Kyneton on Tuesday afternoon. The track is rated a Good 4, the is rail out 4m for the entire circuit, and the meeting is set to get underway at 1:30pm AEST.

Kyneton Best Bet: Kaleidoscope Eyes

The opening event at Kyneton on Tuesday over 1112m looks to be a competitive maiden, but we are confident the Danny O’Brien-trained Kaleidoscope Eyes can break through. In he two career starts to date, the three-year-old filly has chased home the likes of Xtra Gear and See You In Spring, who were both competitive at Caulfield on Saturday, September 18. Kaleidoscope Eyes worked home strongly at Geelong last time out when chasing home Xtra Gear. Brett Prebble hops on board, and we expect to see him settle the daughter of Your Song midfield with cover from barrier 10, from where she should get a nice tow into the race. With a genuine tempo expected in front, she should get the race run to suit her and prove hard to hold out.

Best BetRace 1 – Kaleidoscope Eyes (#10) $3.90 with Sportsbet

Next Best at Kyneton: Grandma Gail

The Jamie Edwards-trained Grandma Gail was a smart winner at Benalla on August 30, having run on strongly from the rear of the field. The six-year-old Glass Harmonium mare has raced on a Good-rated track on just one occasion, but she is in form and should handle the conditions with aplomb. Mikaela Lawrence hops on board with her 2kg claim, which gets the weight down to a very manageable 59.5kg. With plenty of early pace in the race, it should be set up perfectly for a backmarker to finish over the top of the leaders, and we expect Grandma Gail will be the one to finish best.

Next BestRace 7 – Grandma Gail (#6) $3.90 with Sportsbet

Kyneton Value Bet: Adki

Michael and Lee Cerchi send Adki to the Kyneton 1469m on Tuesday and will be hoping she can make this a genuinely run affair. Her last two starts at Echuca and then Wangaratta have seen her open up big leads only to be run down late in the home straight. Her run at Echuca two starts back saw her reeled in over the last 50m over 1400m, although she did offer a kick on the home turn before peaking late. From barrier two, Teo Nugent will have no issue in finding the lead and dictating terms throughout. With race fitness on Adki’s sign, we think she will be able to burn the candle at both ends and salute at a nice price in the third leg of the quaddie.

Best ValueRace 8 – Adki (#5) $16 with Sportsbet
