Seven races will be run and won on the Randwick-Kensington on ANZAC Day. The track is rated a Good 4 and the rail is in the true position for the entire circumference of the course. HB’s New South Wales form experts have found three best bets at backable quotes and a quaddie to get through the afternoon. Race 1 will jump at 1:20pmAEST.
Best Bet – #8 Count de Rupee
Three-year-old Real Impact gelding Count de Rupee has been somewhat underrated in his seven start career, despite winning three times and placing in three others. The Robert & Luke Price-trained won a Benchmark 78 at Rosehill back in January and has since been a trial winner with Tommy Berry in the saddle who partners him here. He should be winning.

Next Best – #8 Le Gai Soleil
John O’Shea and James McDonald combine with classy mare Le Gai Soleil in the last race of the day. The four-year-old Tavistock mare has won five of her eight starts, including a tough looping run at Warwick Farm when first-up last time out. She is three from three at 1400m and has won twice at this track, so we expect her to be going very close here. JMC a big plus.

Best Value – #11 Pesto
Scratched from Caulfield on Saturday, this Hawkes-trained international has been saved to run in what we believe is an easier assignment. After being a flashing second in his Australian debut when he was in the worst part of the track and running home against the pattern of the day. He steps out to 1800m which looks ideal, and having Tommy Berry on from barrier nine looks to suit him down to the ground. Nice each way play.
