Kembla Grange quaddie tips, form & specials for Thursday, August 10

quaddie of the week
AFTER taking the quaddie to the outskirts of the nation’s capital on a Friday we move up to the sunshine state for a terrific eight race card at Kembla Grange on Thursday.

After the horror show that was two runners in the quaddie saluting at $21 and $14 respectively, we mark that down as an aberration and move up to Queensland.

Race five on the card is the Colleggians benchmark 69 over the 1200m distance which kicks off the quaddie at 3.10pm.

Race 5 – Colleggians BM69 (1200m)

Pure Rebel is a four-year-old in blistering form as of late. The son of Stratum has placed in four of its last five races and won once in that time frame. The horse has won twice and placed a further two times across six runs across the 1200m trip.

Dual acceptor Hav A Nip is resuming after a three month break. The horse will be looking to continue a terrific first up record which has seen it miss just one placing across three attempts. It has also never missed a placing across the track and distance.

Valknut is second up after completing a winning return at Warren at the tail end of July. The gelding has won once over two attempts at the distance and will be a big player in the first leg of our quaddie.

Race 6 – Culburra Beach Bowl/Rec BM78 (1400m)

In a wide open affair Eerised looks to be a great option. The gelding is resuming after a three month break following a brilliant win at Hawkesbury. The horse has previously won first up and will be a major factor here.

Another resuming runner is Coolotta. The horse was one of the unluckiest horses you will ever see when it finished third at Grafton, but less than half a length off the winner. The horse has never missed a placing first up and has won twice over those four races.

Chavish has been making headway with each of its last two runs and looks set to win in the near future. Those last two runs have come at Kembla so there is no reason to think its tremendous run of form will come to a close.

Race 7 – Warilla Bowls/Recreation Maiden (1400m)

Pandemonium is having its second run on Thursday and looks like the main market danger. Last time out at Wyong the filly got badly hampered and still finished fourth, within a length of the winner. It gets the perfect opportunity to break through here.

Cool Dude Ausbred will be looking to build on its debut race where it finished a respectable within a length of the winner as a $31 chance. The colt is sure to improve on that run and will be the rival to our top elect.

Race 8 – Dapto Leagues Club BM65 (1600m)

Damaging looks set for a big run after breaking the maiden a fortnight ago. The win was so commanding we think the gelding of stepping straight up and making an impact at benchmark level.

Kopopu is third up today and has placed third up in the past. The win at Dubbo at a similar level was powerful and anything close to that form will see it smash this field.

Bon Equus is a Joe Pride runner that looks set to make a big impression on Thursday. The horse finished within a length of the winner at Wyong a month ago and gets a chance to stay at its preferred distance of the mile.
