Wednesday racing tips for Ipswich
Midweek racing heads to Ipswich on Wednesday for an eight-part card kicking off at 1:15pm AEST. The track is currently rated a Soft 5, with the rail out +6m for the entire circumference.
Willo Titto was a great winner at the Gold Coast last time and out and will be suited by the drop in distance to 1690m. She will go forward from barrier two under Jimmy Orman and be tough all the way to the line. She has won three in a row and is a winner at this distance in the past. There isn’t much speed in the race outside of her, so we expect the Michael Costa-trained mare to get a soft time in front and be too good for them again.

Tony Gollan and Brad Stewart combine in the fifth with five-year-old gelding Still Invincible. After having 18 months off due to injury in his first Melbourne campaign, he returned in great fashion when running a close second to Superbowl Sunday in a race that has seen six subsequent winners. He has since won in brilliant fashion at the Gold Coast before failing at the same track behind Express Fantasy last time out. Drawn out in barrier eight, Stewart will come across the field and lead this field under little pressure. The $8 appeals each way here.
