Ipswich Best Bet – Capital Miss
Toby & Trent Edmonds will saddle up Capital Miss in the second race of the day on Friday where she looks very hard to beat. The three-year-old daughter of Capitalist debuted behind Rayjen back in July, before returning this campaign as a winner at the Sunshine Coast and then running fifth at tjat track again, beaten just on a length. Jaden Lloyd is set to do the riding from barrier two which looks ideal for her to find and hold a position close to the speed. Plenty of form has stacked up from her first few starts, and this looks a nice race for her to add another win next to her name.
Best Value At Ipswich – Norm’s Choice
Tom Button and Taylor Marshall combine in the fifth race of the day with a three-times Ipswich winner, Norm’s Choice. The five-year-old mare never runs a bad race here as we saw two starts ago when she raced away. Barrier six gives Marshall plenty of options, but we expect him to want to be handy on the mare. In her most recent start, Norm’s Choice finished fifth at Doomben behind Parko, while Ruru finished three lengths in front of our top pick here, with Ruru going on to run fourth at Flemington on VRC Oaks Day, before winning on Wednesday at Sandown. She can make it four wins here at Ipswich.
