Group One line up for Cranbourne trial
A Group One field has been assembled for an 800m barrier trial at Cranbourne.
The opening heat of 22 trials on Monday has attracted nine runners of which five are Group One winners.
Newmarket Handicap winner The Quarterback carries the number one saddlecloth while other Group One winners engaged are Flying Artie, Extreme Choice, Abbey Marie and Under The Louvre.
Also entered in the trial are black-type winners Tarquin, Hooked, Heatherly and Illustrious Lad.
Flying Artie and Extreme Choice have also been entered for a three-year-olds only trial, the second heat, where other entries include Hardham, So Si Bon and Throssell.
