Greg Rudolph steps down from CEO role

Greg Rudolph has announced he is stepping down from his role as chief executive of Hawkesbury Race Club to pursue other interests.

A former Racing NSW steward, Rudolph as been at the helm of the provincial club for the past 3-1/2 years and has overseen several major projects during his tenure, including the installation of the Polytrack training track.

Rudolph will consult to the Hawkesbury Race Club board in the short term until his replacement is found.

Rudolph said he planned to complete his business studies and increase his involvement with a major charity organisation.

The club hosts one of its major meetings on Thursday with the running of the $150,000 Rowley Mile (1600m) which has attracted a field of 10 headed by the James Cummings-trained Duca Valentinois.
