When Tuesday, April 27, 2021
First Race 12:55pm AEST

Seven races will be run and won at Goulburn on Tuesday afternoon from 12:55pm AEST. Perfect racing conditions look to be the order of the afternoon, with a Good 4 track expected and the rail out 5m for the entire course. HorseBetting.com.au has found two best bets for the meeting, as well as a value pick in a race where we think the shorty can be beaten.

Best Bet: Jimmy’s Dream

The Waterhouse & Bott yard take a couple of runners to Goulburn on Tuesday, with Jimmy’s Dream looking like the best of their chances in the second race. The Not A Single Doubt gelding has placed in all four of his starts without winning and lined up here under the big weight of 62.5kg with Sam Clipperton on, but this looks much easier. With placings behind Dance and Hot Spring Gold at his latest outings, he should be classes above these maiden bush gallopers. He will win this at the shorts.

Best BetRace 2 – Jimmy’s Dream (#1) $1.65 with Sportsbet

Next Best: Go Troppo

Another three-year-old gelding who is shooting for win no.1 on Tuesday is David Pfeiffer’s son of Hinchinbrook, Go Troppo. After running second to the metropolitan-placed Echo Point, he should go one better at Goulburn. Drawn out in the cheap seats in gate 11, Rory Hutchins will take this runner forward and hope to dictate terms over the mile. This is easier than last time out for Go Troppo.

Next BestRace 4 – Go Troppo (#6) $2.15 with Sportsbet

Best Value: Reelclass

While the $4.50 isn’t huge value for Reelclass, we do think she can beat the odds-on favourite, so we are happy to play at the backable price. The No Nay Never filly has won just one of her seven starts, but that came in good fashion at this track three runs back at the 1400m she gets in this. Having drawn barrier eight under Keagan Latham, the three-year-old filly will likely be in the first half of the field and can be in hot pursuit of the favourite late.

Best ValueRace 5 – Reelclass (#5) $4.50 with Sportsbet
