Gosford Race Club is scheduled to host a seven-part card on Tuesday afternoon, and HorseBetting’s New South Wales form analyst presents his best bets and free quaddie selections for the meeting. The track is rated a Soft 7 with the rail in the true position throughout, and the first race is set to go at 12:35pm AEST.
Gosford Best Bet: Jimmy’s Dream
Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott send their three-year-old son of Not A Single Doubt to Gosford in a bid to continue the gelding’s strong form to begin his career. Having not finished outside of the top three in each of his eight career starts, he looks hard to go past in the third leg of the quaddie. We expect Tim Clark to look for some cover close to the speed from barrier 10, and if he manages to do so, then this pair will take some holding out. His sole career win came on a Heavy 8 at Kembla Grange two runs back on May 25, so we know he will handle the wet ground.

Next Best at Gosford: Eye See Things
In the opening leg of the quaddie, we are hoping Eye See Things can break a run of near misses. With three runner-up efforts and a third placing to her name in her last four runs, this mare is nothing but consistent, but on Tuesday we expect her to go one better over 1200m. Reece Jones is in red-hot form in the saddle, and from barrier seven we expect the apprentice to settle the four-year-old in the second half of the field and allow her to build through the gears. Jones’ 2kg claim gets them in with just 56.5kg, and if the form is anything to go by, John Thompson’s runner looks perfectly placed to go one better than she has done in recent times.
Race 4 – Eye See Things (#3)[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1373036_04]
Gosford Value Bet: Kittyhawk Flyer
Mark Newnham and Rachel King are set to combine in the final leg of the quaddie with last-start winner Kittyhawk Flyer. The More Than Ready filly broke her maiden with a tough run at Hawkesbury in which she settled three wide with no cover up on speed and managed to grind away at the leaders. From barrier five, expect King to settle her close to the speed yet again, and with plenty of pace drawn to her outside she should have no issue in gaining cover this time. When asked for an effort, this three-year-old should be too good for this lot at a nice each-way price.
