Good Standing gets look around Caulfield

Good Standing has had a look around Caulfield in a solid track gallop with trainer James Cummings believing the experience will be beneficial for the Sydney colt going into the Caulfield Guineas.

The trainer said Good Standing, who worked in company with stablemate Smart Amelia over 1400 metres was “fit and ready to go” for Saturday’s Group One race.

Cummings is confident Good Standing, a last-start third in the Stan Fox Stakes, will appreciate the 1600m of the Guineas and rates New Zealand three-year-old Sacred Elixir as the horse to beat.
