Best Bet : Race 5 – Phantom Court #7
Rob Heathcote saddles up last start winner Phantom Court in race five over 1400m. The three-year-old filly was a winner over this distance at Dalby a little over a week ago by a good space, so we are confident that she can go back to back here at Class 2 level. Under Nozi Tomizawa from the outside alley, she will roll forward and should be too good for them.

Next Best : Race 9 – Fend Off #6
Georgina Cartwright has a nice book of ride, but the best of those comes up in the last with Fend Off. The four-year-old gelding is looking to make it three straight wins after winning at Bell and then the Sunshine Coast in good fashion last time out. That win came with a margin of 2.3L where he led all of the way over 1400m under Cartwright. From barrier 13, she will take him forward and should prove too hard to catch.

Best Value : Race 6 – Shadyvale Star #2
Shadyvale Star can return to the winners stall for the first time in a long time with a win here in a 0-60 Handicap. Up to 1600m will suit the five-year-old who boasts form around Igor at the Sunshine Coast two starts back. He has placed in his only start at Gatton which will bode well here. He can be winning this.
