Four Beers Please has trialed well leading into this one, which counts for everything in a field of first-starters. The daughter of Star Witness looks well placed to make a winning debut.

Race 1 tip: Four Beers Please to win at Sportsbet

Race 2 – Summer Sprint (1200m)

Outside of an ordinary eighth at Gundagai two starts back, O’ So Hazy has been in sparkling form. The horse has won three of its last four races and in this field it has a very reasonable chance of making it four from five.

Race 2 tip: O’ So Hazy to win at Neds

Race 3 – Maiden (1200m)

Miss Forbidden has finished third in back-to-back events and looks a good a chance as any in a tricky little maiden event. The horse has placed three times across seven attempts at Wagga, so the course is familiar. We are backing it in to shake the tag today.

Race 3 tip: Miss Forbidden to win at Neds

Race 4 – Maiden (1200m)

Manzana has finished third in three of its five career starts, which bodes well for a strong run here. In a maiden with not a lot going for it in terms of quality Manzana looks well placed to breakthrough.

Race 4 tip: Manzana to win at Sportsbet

Race 5 – Maiden (1600m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1177779_05]

Chief Of Arlington is the best horse in another less than stellar maiden field. The horse finished within striking distance across its last two events and only a slight improvement on those performances will see it winning.

Race 5 tip: Chief Of Arlington to win at William Hill

Race 6 – Class 2 (1600m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1177779_06]

Hargy is a good horse that is better than this grade. The horse has been performing well around the BM60 grading and we believe it has this field covered in terms of talent and output.

Race 6 tip: Hargy to win at Crownbet

Race 7 – Class 1 (1300m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1177779_07]

Airport broke the maiden tag last time out at Canberra, which was a long-time coming. The horse won strongly on December 29 on that day and we think it can progress on from there.

Race 7 tip: Airport to win at Crownbet

Race 8 – Benchmark 55 (1800m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1177779_08]

Kiss In The Dark performed well at the Sapphire Coast last time out and we think it can win at Wagga. We have a high opinion of this horse, which has won twice and placed another two times across nine attempts.

Race 8 tip: Kiss In The Dark to win at William Hill

Race 9 – Class 3 Handicap (1000m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1177779_09]

Kevlar Kid jumps from barrier nine, but it has good enough gate speed to lead this field. The horse has won twice over five attempts at the distance and we believe it can win for the second time this preparation.

Race 9 tip: Kevlar Kid to win at William Hill
