Foundry out, Le Romain in to All-Star Mile

Foundry has been scratched from the All-Star Mile on veterinary advice, meaning the Kris Lees-trained triple Group One winner Le Romain has been elevated into the field.

Le Romain was first emergency for Saturday’s inaugural $5 million race at Flemington and will be ridden by Dwayne Dunn.

Racing Victoria stewards confirmed Foundry’s scratching on Friday morning while Material Man and Urban Ruler have been re-examined after lameness concerns on Thursday and have been passed fit to start.

Multiple Group One-winning jockey Dwayne Dunn will ride Le Romain.
