CANBERRA hosts an eight-race card this Friday and we have form, odds and free tips for the card.
It’s not the greatest card on offer over the Christmas period, but the fields have held up well enough and Canberra is always a punters’ favourite.

Jindaberra looked good without winning last campaign and it won’t get a better chance than this.
The five-year-old placed at its last four starts and punters should expect it to be well-favoured in the betting market.

Poet’s Dash turned around some average form with a win last start and it could have the confidence sky high now.
The Nick Olive-trained runner stays down in the weights at 56.5kg which should make it an each way chance again.

Race 3 – BM64 Handicap (1200m)

Media Vita has notched consecutive victories this campaign and it could put three together now.
The five-year-old by Denman handles all tracks and drawing barrier two should ensure a nice run in transit.

Race 4 – BM57 Handicap (1000m)

Usain Brockstar isn’t the most consistent runner going around, but this is a weak rating 57 field.
It was a winner two starts back at Bong Bong and although that came in the picnic grade, it wasn’t too far behind them last start at Sapphire Coast.

Race 5 – BM58 Handicap (1400m)

Nick Olive has a nice team engaged and Lady Marionette is another tidy chance.
The four-year-old was a last start winner and winning form should be good enough in this race.
It has drawn nicely in barrier two and the weight of 56kg helps.

Race 6 – C2 Handicap (1200m)

Cliff is on the verge of winning after two recent placings.
The gelding by Canford Cliffs went within a half-length of the winner at Sapphire Coast last start and that form should stack up well enough here.

Dream Builder has drawn wide in barrier 15, but it has the pace needed to cross from the outside.
The four-year-old by Lonhro showed some good pace last start and Matthew Dale is a master trainer on this track.

Orrstar is a last start winner which capped off some good form with a win last time out.
