Eagle Farm’s midweek program will see eight metropolitan races run and won on Wednesday, April 14. The track is rated a Good 4 and the rail is out 7.5m for the entire circumference of the course. HorseBetting.com.au’s Queensland tipster has found three top tips and some quaddie numbers to send us home with.

Best Bet: Reality

Four-year-old gelding Reality has had two career starts for two runner-up performances. He had trialled really nicely before his debut and then backed that up with a close second to I Am Thirty, who is a nice type. He ended his first campaign with a second to Boomnova, who had a good summer season. First up at 1000m under Jimmy Orman looks a great way to start for this Chris Anderson-trained gelding. The stable has been cautious, scratching him twice now due to wet tracks, but he should start on Wednesday and be too good.

Next Best: Georgie’s Pride

The form that Georgie’s Pride brings into the this mid-weeker is well and truly good enough for some quality black-type races during the upcoming Brisbane Winter Carnival. The Desleigh Forster-trained filly won very well in her first two runs this campaign and then chased hard behind the very smart Miami Fleiss on February 13. Jim Byrne steered her to perfection at her subsequent start to win by nearly three lengths eased down. Having drawn one from the outside in barrier eight under Jim Byrne, this Better Than Ready filly should show them a clean pair of heels and lead them a merry dance.

Next BestRace 6 – Georgie’s Pride (#2) $2.50 with Sportsbet

Best Value: Alignment

Bryan & Daniel Guy’s four-year-old mare Alignment brings some handy form to the table in this 1200m Fillies & Mares Class 1. While she hasn’t been seen at the races since a runner-up effort to the very handy Hard Labour, she has won a trial on March 30 by a convincing 10 lengths. That should have been the tune-up she needed to be competitive in this race, while Michael Rodd in the saddle is always a plus. She will take some running down.

Best ValueRace 7 – Alignment (#3) $4.80 with Sportsbet
