Tuesday racing tips for Dubbo
Dubbo will host seven races on Tuesday, with the first set to jump at 2:10pm local time. The track is rated a Soft 6, with the rail in the true position for the entire circumference of the course.
Will Freedman takes four-year-old mare Birdonawinningpost to Dubbo on Tuesday for what will be her third career start. After running second last time out when she tried to lead all the way at Newcastle, she should be much fitter third up and better for the experience. Rachael Murray stays aboard, which is a plus given she knows the mare. From barrier seven, we imagine to see the mare in the first three or four horses and pulling away late in her easiest assignment yet.

The big grey Toulon Factor looks a great way to finish the card on Tuesday. Shooting for a hat-trick of wins here, the four-year-old son of The Factor comes off a dominant victory at Narromine last start. He drops a kilo under Dylan Stanley and maps to settle in the first couple if he can get across from the wide alley in gate 13. Kody Nestor has a great strike rate and return on investment at Dubbo, so this looks a great bet.

Zoo Station lines up in her first race start after being at the trials four times. She’s clearly had some issues, given her first trial came 18 months ago and there was a six-month gap between her next two trials, but the form in each of them has been good. In February she was only 3.5 lengths on Zakat, which is handy form. Most recently, the daughter of Animal Kingdom was half a length off Speed Camera, who races in town, and that trial was nearly two seconds quicker than the other trial at Bathurst that morning over the same distance. She’ll be handy from the inside alley under Kath Bell-Pitomac and could take some beating on debut.
