Race 1 – Benchmark 60 (1600m)

Dubali won well at BM55 level last time out and is looming as a great winning chance in a competitive race to kick off the card. The horse has four placings from five races, and we’re backing the galloper to be right in the mix once again.

Race 1 tip: Dubali to win ($3.10 at Neds)

Race 2 – Benchmark 55 (1400m)

Nordic Noir stays at the same grading it won at last-start, but rises sharply in weight as a result. The horse has a great record of six placings from 11 attempts at this distance and we feel it will be too good in the second event.

Race 2 tip: Nordic Noir to win ($2.90 at Topbetta)

Race 3 – Maiden (1400m)

Sprezzatura has been in red-hot form this preparation without breaking through for a win. The horse has three second placings and a fourth this campaign and looks to have found the right race here. Sprezzatura has placed at both the tack and distance in the past so we’re backing it in here.

Race 3 tip: Sprezzatura to win ($2.80 at Sportsbet)

Race 4 – Class 1 (1400m)

Forseeable did its best work late to breakthrough on debut, and presents as a great chance to go back-to-back in the fourth. The horse left it until the latter stages to secure the win so the extra distance will be beneficial.

Race 4 tip: Forseeable to win ($4 at William Hill)

Race 5 – Maiden Handicap (1000m)

Bangkok has fitness on its side coming into this event, as well as the added advantage of having race experience on a number of first starters. Prior to being turned out the horse recorded back-to-back second placings by a combined half a length. Bangkok resumed well enough at Muswellbrook to finish fourth in a 12 runner field, and a second-up record of one placing from two runs reads well.

Race 5 tip: Bangkok to win ($4.80 at Neds)

Race 6 – Benchmark 55 (1000m)

Yours Mine Ours presents as an excellent winning chance in this one. The horse returns to a track where it has a win and three placings from five attempts and the added bonus of the inside draw will help. Blinkers are added too which is a big tick.

Race 6 tip: Yours Mine Ours to win ($3 at William Hill)

Race 7 – Class 1 Handicap (1000m)

Dollar Thief is in great form and will be the elect to bet here. Before breaking through for an overdue win at Parkes on January 27 the Time Thief filly had put together two back-to-back second placed finishes. Back Dollar Thief in.

Race 7 tip: Dollar Thief to win ($3.90 at Crownbet)
