Race 1 – Class 3 Handicap (1110m)

Return On Equity should improve on its resuming run. The Steven O’Dea-trained galloper won well on debut at the Sunshine Coast last preparation before missing out as a short-priced favourite last-time out on March 2. Return On Equity should improve on that run.

Race 1 tip: Return On Equity to win ($3.40 at Neds)

Race 2 – Class 3 (1110m)

A second placed last-start run boosts our confidence that Mystic Moon can deliver here. The mare has a win at this distance in the past and we’re backing it in.

Race 2 tip: Mystic Moon to win ($2.30 at William Hill)

Race 3 – Maiden (1200m)

Promising type Fish ‘N’ Snitz has been around the mark this preparation. The horse has placed in back-to-back events since returning on February 21 and we believe it can deliver its first-ever win.

Race 3 tip: Fish ‘N’ Snitz to win ($6.50 at Sportsbet)

Race 4 – Maiden Plate (1200m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183041_04]

Miss Powder Keg has never missed a placing across its three career starts. Its resuming run on January 12 was brilliant and we think it can improve the additional three parts of a length required to win.

Race 4 tip: Miss Powder Keg to win ($2.50 at Sportsbet)

Race 5 – Maiden Plate (1200m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183041_05]

In three of its four career starts Boom Boy has finished second, highlighting just how close the gelding has been to breaking the grade. The three-year-old gets a decent gate and will be right in the mix.

Race 5 tip: Boom Boy to win ($5.50 at William Hill)

Race 6 – Benchmark 80 (1350m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183041_06]

Lyricist is a star that is more than capable of winning here. The horse is third-up after a strong Class 4 win at Ipswich on February 28, and it has won at this point in the preparation in the past. Lyricist looms as the best bet of the day.

Race 6 tip: Lyricist to win ($3 at Neds)

Race 7 – Class 2 Plate (1350m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183041_07]

River Racer is a first-up beast which has never missed a placing across four resuming runs. This represents a significant drop in class to what it had been handling last preparation and we believe it will deliver here.

Race 7 tip: River Racer to win ($2.35 at Crownbet)

Race 8 – Class 2 (1650m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183041_08]

Shinnecock has been great this preparation and looms as a strong hope. The horse placed second in back-to-back events before winning brilliantly on March 2 by just shy of four lengths. This appears within its grasp.

Race 8 tip: Shinnecock to win ($4.60 at Neds)
