Race 1 – Benchmark 95 (1200m)

Tango Rain should be peaking third-up. the horse has been respectable across its last two starts and has a pair of top-two placings third-up from as many attempts.

Dark Dream should be right in the frame here. The horse has not missed the first two in eight races and we’re backing it to school the field here.

Sedanzer is a very good horse that will be extremely hard to beat here. Despite getting a nasty draw the horse will be finishing well and should be rock-hard fit third-up.

Race 4 – Lord Mayor’s Cup (1630m)

It’s Somewhat drops in class and will be hard to hold out from a good barrier. The Godolphin runner has run in G1 and G2 races in back-to-back events, so the gelding will appreciate the easier company.

Race 5 – Brc Sires’ Produce (1350m)

Waller runner Zousain is drawn perfectly here. The last-start winner smashed them at Doomben on May 12 and we’re backing it in to go back-to-back.

Race 6 – Glenlogan Park Stakes (1350m)

Plucky Girl is going to prove hard to beat against the girls. The horse has won four in a row and five of its last six. Cannot do much more than that.

Race 7 – Kingsford-Smith Cup (1350m)

Champagne Cuddles should only improve from its last-start win. The Baker runner won well at the Gold Coast last time out and with the rock-bottom weight will be hard to catch.

Race 8 – Queensland Oaks (2200m)

Youngstar is the best horse in this field and should be hard to beat. A win in the Oaks would be a fourth-straight success for the Waller runner, who is drawn perfectly to win the Group 1 crown.

Whypeeo should be winning this, despite the wide draw. The horse is third-up, where it has won before, and is fresh off a four length resuming win and a narrow loss to smart customer Champagne Cuddles.
