Cranbourne Cup meeting postponed due to high winds
THE Cranbourne Cup meeting of 2016 has been postponed after one race due to extremely strong winds.
Stewards initially put back the meeting by one race, but ultimately decided to call the meeting off for the day. They will be making a decision within the next 24-48 hours regarding the future of the meeting.
Tom Melbourne was to run as the favourite in the $300,000 feature which is used as a possible lead-up into the Melbourne Cup.
