Just Sizzling is bred for speed and this distance should suit. It finished last on debut, but it wasn’t far away from the leader and another small field should suit.

Green Cash ran well for second last start to turn its form around. The Cheryl Lantry-trained runner hadn’t been running well up until that stage, but consider here if that form holds.

Plectrum finished second when fresh up last start and that form could carry over to this. The four-year-old has placed in two of its five starts to date and a win isn’t far off.

Toucan has drawn deep in barrier 16, but the three-year-old has been showing good pace and it could run well at each way odds here.

Water Boy scored an impressive win at Lismore last start and that form should stack up nicely here. The six-year-old is an experience customer and we’re expecting a good performance.

Jazzy Ruler has yet to win from three starts this preparation, but it’s knocking on the door and this isn’t the hardest field it will ever face. Bookmakers should be offering each way odds.

Race 7 – Pink Silks Cup (1215m)

Elite Dubleo has had two runs back from a spell this campaign and it has looked good. Its second placing fresh up was quality and it looks the best runner in this race.
