Breaking news: Australian jockey Tim Bell dies in Singapore

Young Australian jockey Tim Bell, 22, has died in Singapore after reportedly falling from his high-rise balcony.

The 2013/2014 Brisbane Jockeys’ premiership winner was granted the opportunity ride in Singapore earlier this year and had his break through moment last week, winning a Group 3 race.

Sky News racing reporter Andrew Bensley said the tragedy was a “non-racing incident” and a police investigation is underway.
