Glen Boss will ride three-yera-old filly Loving Gaby in the Group One TJ Smith Stakes at Randwick.

Glen Boss has snared the ride on star filly Loving Gaby in the Group One TJ Smith Stakes with regular jockey Craig Williams unable to leave Victoria.

Williams and other interstate jockeys are banned from travelling to NSW to compete until further notice as part of the coronavirus protocols.

The TJ Smith Stakes (1200m) is the feature sprint of the Sydney autumn carnival which moves from Rosehill to Randwick next Saturday for the first day of The Championships.

Trained by Ciaron Maher and David Eustace, Loving Gaby won the William Reid Stakes (1200m) at The Valley at her most recent start, her second weight-for-age Group One win this season with the Manikato Stakes the other.

Loving Gaby was on the second line of betting for the $2.5 million TJ Smith on Saturday at $6 along with Nature Strip and defending champion Santa Ana Lane.

Newmarket Handicap winner Bivouac is the $5 favourite.

Boss said he was excited to be partnering Loving Gaby in the TJ Smith.

“Grateful for the opportunity to partner such an outstanding filly in what will be a sensational race,” Boss tweeted.
