The Ballarat Turf Club will hold an eight-race program on the synthetic track this Thursday, after the Kyneton meeting was transferred due to the impacts of wet weather. The first race is set to jump at 1:30pm AEDT.
Best Bet: Revue
Our next best bet of the day will come up in race five over 2100m, where we will be siding with the Tony & Calvin McEvoy-trained Revue to record his third win at start number eight. This four-year-old gelding won his first start this preparation over 1400m and then ran second at Murray Bridge over 1600m, finishing behind the smart Yuri Royale. This son of Delago Deluxe will be having his first attempt at 2100m as well as his first attempt in any race over 1600m, but considering how strong he has been in his races through the line and at the end of 1600m, the 2000m-plus should be no problem.

The Mick Price & Michael Kent Jnr-trained Brooklyn Boss looks to be great value in race six over 1400m, where he will be returning from a five-month spell. This four-year-old gelding is two from two when first-up, with his most recent win coming at Pakenham over 1400m when resuming last preparation on March 24. This son of Prince Of Brooklyn has shown that he is very good fresh and there should be no worry about him only being first-up when he takes his place in this Benchmark 64 race on Thursday. We think that the $8 being offered with online bookmakers is a good price for this guy.
